Where TYPO3 is genuinely good
Localization and Workspaces. TYPO3's translation system, with locale fallback chains, per-language page trees and translation status tracking, is among the most mature anywhere, and organisations run 20 languages on it. Workspaces let editors stage a whole site version, compare it against live, and release it as one batch across pages, elements and locales. b10cks has releases and full version history, and for an atomic site-wide release across a government portal, TYPO3 goes deeper. Add a granular permission system, GPL with no strings, and 25 years in regulated sectors.

TYPO3 renders HTML through Fluid. EXT:headless turns that into JSON and is maintained by the community, with its own release cycle and compatibility surface. No versioned API contract from TYPO3 GmbH, no TypeScript SDK. In b10cks the API is the product.
